About these terms
These terms apply to every experience booked with Altrove, whether a private day trip or a multi-day journey. By confirming a booking, you agree to them, so please read them carefully.
Booking your experience
Every journey starts with a conversation. Once we have agreed on the details, we will send you a written proposal. Your booking is confirmed when you accept it and pay the deposit.
Payments
To secure your dates, we ask for:
A 30% deposit when you confirm your booking.
The remaining balance no later than 30 days before your experience begins.
Full payment at the time of booking if you book within 30 days of travel.
Cancellations by you
Plans change, and we understand. If you need to cancel, let us know in writing as soon as possible:
More than 60 days before travel: full refund minus the deposit.
Between 60 and 30 days before travel: 50% refund.
Less than 30 days before travel: no refund.
Changes by us
We work with small local partners and the seasons of rural Italy, so occasionally we may need to adjust an itinerary. When that happens, we will always offer an alternative of equal value, or a refund for any part we can no longer provide.
Your responsibilities
Please make sure you have a valid passport or ID, any visas you need and suitable travel insurance. Let us know in advance about any health, dietary or mobility needs so we can plan accordingly.
Liability
We take great care in choosing the people and places we work with. However, we cannot be held responsible for events beyond our control, such as weather, strikes or travel disruption, or for services provided directly by third parties.
