History & Piazzas
Two thousand years of history.
Seen in the evening light.
An archaeologist-led evening from the Forum to Trastevere's quiet lanes.
The experience
See Rome the way Romans do, from ancient ruins in the soft evening light to hidden courtyards, family-run trattorias and piazzas long after the tour buses have gone.
The Eternal City, unhurried
Rome rewards those who arrive as the day cools down. Join Marco, an archaeologist and lifelong Roman, for an evening that begins among the columns of the Roman Forum, where two thousand years of history come alive through the stories most visitors never hear.
From there, wander through quiet lanes to Piazza Navona and across the Tiber into Trastevere, where ivy-covered streets lead to a family-run trattoria. The evening ends the Roman way: a long table, a glass of wine and the city glowing around you.
